In the internal ring of this kylix there is an illustration of the not so exciting epilogue of a drinking-party, with a young man who is paying for his drinking excesses. He is assisted by a young girl. On the outside there is a lively illustration of a drinking party: five men are drinking, singing, playing instruments, and playing at kottabos (game consisting in launching wine by making a kylix like this twirl, to hit the plates of the instrument), assisted by a flautist and by a servant.
