Pair of hands
Room I. Proto-history in Etruria and Latium

Decorated with small golden studs and very long fingers, they are made from a single bronze sheet, closed at the wrist and slightly folded at the edges. Possible comparisons indicate Vulci as their place of origin and production and conceptually associate these hands with the masks of bronze sheeting of some canopic vases of Chiusi and, generally, with the first experimental attempts to make the human figure in Etruscan bronze art, consisting of joining parts obtained separately from embossed sheets to obtain statues in the round.
