The rediscovery of a Correggio
The Vatican Pinacoteca rediscovers a Correggio thanks to research and studies undertaken by the Il Correggio Foundation together with the Diagnostic Laboratory for Conservation and Restoration of the Vatican Museums. Presentation on 27 June 2011 of the steps taken to attribute the painting of Christ the Redeemer that legitimised the signature of the painter.
