As part of the initiatives promoted for the Year of Faith, the inauguration of the archaeological area in the Monks' Orchard of St Paul Outside-the-Walls will take place on Thursday 27 June. The site, of great historical and religious interest, came to light between 2007 and 2009. The project for the study, conservation, restoration and exposition of the site has involved the collaboration of important institutions such as the Vatican Museums, the Pontifical Institute of Christian Archaeology, and the University of Rome "La Sapienza", as well as the Abbey and the Basilica of St Paul Outside-the-Walls. The site will be open to pilgrims and visitors from 1 July.
