After being the protagonist of the Milanese exhibition Giotto and Italy, the Stefaneschi Polyptych remains the focus of attention in the new volume jointly published by Edizioni Musei Vaticani and Electa: “Studies on the Stefaneschi Polyptych. Giotto in the Vatican Pinacoteca” edited by Antonio Paolucci, Ulderico Santamaria, Vittoria Cimino and various authors.

The presentation of the volume, to take place on 20 0ctober at 04.00 p.m. in the Conference Hall of the Vatican Museums, forms part of the Thursdays in the Museums conference series, and will be entirely dedicated to the intellectual and conservation studies linked to the masterpiece on the occasion of its recent display.

The meeting will be introduced by the Director of the Vatican Museums, followed by presentations by the art historian Serena Romano and the Superintendent of the Workshop of Semi-Precious Stones, Marco Ciatti.
