Les Vases de Bucchero
On 7 December, the Thursdays in the Museums series will conclude 2017 with the Etruscans. The final appointment in this year’s cycle of Thursday scientific conferences will be the presentation of the volume "Les Vases de Bucchero. Le monde étrusque entre Orient et Occident" by Jean Gran-Aymerich, published by L’Erma di Bretschneider.
The usual introduction by the Director of the Pope’s Museums, Barbara Jatta, will be followed by interventions by Maurizio Sannibale, curator of the Vatican Museums Department of Etruscan-Italic Antiquities, and by Mario Torelli of the Lincean Academy. The author and publisher will be present.
