The Opificio delle Pietre Dure or workshop of semi-precious stones in Florence has restored and reconstituted the seventeen marble fragments of the statue of San Giovannino di Úbeda, an early work by Michelangelo. The Thursdays in the Museums of 12 June will be a unique opportunity to retrace all the phases of this exemplary restoration project.
