Accreditation for tour guides at the Vatican Museums – Year 2018
The Directorate of the Museums, in accordance with the regulation of the practice of the professional activity of tour guide within the Vatican Museums, invites all interested workers in the sector holding the necessary permits to practice the profession of tour guide on Italian territory under the current provisions of the law, to download and submit the "Istanza di accreditamento annuale per l’esercizio dell’attività di guida turistica presso i Musei Vaticani" (Request for annual accreditation to practice the activity of tour guide at the Vatican Museums), following the instructions contained therein. The request may be submitted from 1/09/2017 until 30/11/2017.
Tour guides are reminded that from 1 January 2018, all those who have not obtained the aforementioned accreditation will be unable to practice as tour guides in the Vatican Museums.
This provision also applies to tour guides already in possession of the annual card granting access to the Vatican Museums.
