In the academic year 2017-2018, and therefore for the third consecutive year, the Vatican Museums are reconfirmed as partners in the MAMA, the Master in Arts Management and Administration offered by the SDA Bocconi School of Management. It is an international training opportunity for graduates in humanities and for professionals active in the field of art and culture.
As a result of this partnership, participants in the Master course can experience days of “full immersion” in the Vatican Museums and acquire an in-depth awareness of the importance of team work and synergic collaboration between various competences to ensure successful museum management. This collaboration also involves the opportunity of a semester-long internship within the museum structure to acquire theoretical knowledge and technical skills.
Also included within the framework of this collaboration is the participation of the Museums in the free online course in Arts and Heritage Management: a training programme distributed worldwide and structured as a series of video interviews with management staff, focusing on themes and aspects of the management of cultural assets.
