The Vatican Museums at the 63rd Frankfurt Book Fair
Once again the Vatican Museums will attend the Frankfurt Book Fair. The 63rd edition of the Frankfurt Book Fair will open its doors Wednesday 12 October, to over 7500 exhibitors from 111 countries, with Island being the Guest of Honour this year.
Being the biggest event on the international publishing calendar, the Vatican will be represented by the Libreria Editrice Vaticana (Lev), as well as by Edizioni Musei Vaticani.
They will be presenting a preview of their latest publications, including the four volumes by Timothy Verdon: "Cappella Sistina. La parola di Dio in immagini umane" - an exceptional historical-artistic editorial project. Amongst this year' s novelties do not miss the inaugural show transmitted live on WebTv: www.buchmesse.de.
