The Vatican Museums at the Milan BIT

17 - 20 February 2011

For the second consecutive year, from 17 to 20 February the Museums of the Pope are participating with a stand at the International Trade Fair in Milan. The International Trade Fair is the largest exhibition in the world for the Italian tourist product, alongside other comprehensive pre-eminent international representations. This much awaited annual event for professional tour operators and for leisure travellers offers a preview of the best of Italian and of world tourism on offer.

The International Trade Fair is an important occasion for comparing current and future best practices in cultural tourism. The Fair represents a valuable opportunity for the Vatican Museums to account for itself as an entity, without intermediaries, and to transmit in personal and direct ways its own particular identity.
