Open doors for World Tourism Day
Friday 27 September free entry to the Vatican Museums on the occasion of World Tourism Day.
Visitators will have free access to the Papal Collections during the usual opening hours: 09.00 a.m. - 06.00 p.m. (last entry at 04.00 p.m.).
Promoted by the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO), World Tourism Day is celebrated worldwide every year on 27 September. The theme chosen for 2013 is of great current importance for the future of the tourism industry: "Tourism and Water: Protecting our Common Future".
