22 May - 7 June 2014

An exhibition in the "Pope's Museums" will celebrate, from 22 May, the twentieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Holy See and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.
The exhibition, housed in the display spaces of the museum entrance, is entitled “Macedonia in onore di san Cirillo – Manoscritti Slavi dalla Macedonia dal XIII al XIX secolo” (Macedonia in honour of Saint Cyril – Slavic Manuscripts from Macedonia from the 13th to the 19th century), and offers the visiting public the change to admire a rare selection of 30 manuscripts providing an authentic illustration of the written culture of the Balkans.

The entry ticket for the Vatican Museums includes the visit to the exhibition, which will be open until 7 June 2014.
