Guided tour of the Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica for pilgrim groups

Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica

A proposal intended for religious institutions and parishes on a pilgrimage to the Eternal City.
The tour, which includes the Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica, is conducted by an educational guide authorised by Vatican City State.

This type of tour features a reduced ticket for Pilgrimages upon presentation, on the day of the visit, of a letter of request from the Parish, religious Institute or Diocese of origin. The request, to be presented on headed paper, must bear the official stamp of the Institute and the original signature of the parish priest or superior.

Itinerary of the guided tour of the Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica for pilgrim groups: Pio Clementino Museum, Gallery of the Candelabra, Gallery of the Tapestries, Gallery of the Geographical Maps, Raphael’s Rooms, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica.
N.B. At the end of the tour it is not permitted to re-enter the Vatican Museums with the same ticket.

The tour of St. Peter's Basilica takes place when compatible with the Holy Father's liturgical celebrations and other events of the Holy See or Vatican City State.
Should it be impossible to visit the Basilica, the guided tour will therefore be carried out only in the Vatican Museums (still lasting 3 hours). In this event the ticket cannot be refunded.
