This type of tour is dedicated to all individual visitors interested in taking part in a night collective tour, with an educational guide authorised by Vatican City State.
Every Friday, from April to October the Pope’s Museums open their doors after dusk too, from 07.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m., to allow visitors to enjoy an evocative and unusual nocturnal atmosphere. A comprehensive concert programme, included in the price of the entry ticket, further enriches this special tour experience.
At the end of the guided tour and up to the closing time of the Museums (11.00 p.m.), visitors have free access to all sectors that are open and accessible (including the Sistine Chapel), and are entitled to a reserved unnumbered seat at the concerts in the evening musical programme.
Itinerary of night guided tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel – individuals: Pio Clementino Museum, Gallery of the Candelabra, Gallery of the Tapestries, Gallery of the Geographical Maps, Raphael’s Rooms, Sistine Chapel.
