A proposal intended for religious institutions and parishes on a pilgrimage to the Eternal City, interested in a night guided tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. The tour is conducted by an educational guide authorised by Vatican City State.
Every Friday, from April to October the Pope’s Museums open their doors after dusk too, from 07.00 to 11.00 p.m., to allow visitors to enjoy an evocative and unusual nocturnal atmosphere. A comprehensive concert programme, included in the price of the entry ticket, further enriches this special tour experience.
This type of tour features a reduced ticket for Pilgrimages upon presentation, on the day of the visit, of a letter of request from the Parish, religious Institute or Diocese of origin. The request, to be presented on headed paper, must bear the official stamp of the Institute and the original signature of the parish priest or superior.
At the end of the guided tour and up to the closing time of the Museums (11.00 p.m.), visitors have free access to all sectors that are open and accessible (including the Sistine Chapel), and are entitled to a reserved unnumbered seat at the concerts in the evening musical programme.
