Vatican Museums

On the occasion of the beatification of the Venerable Servant of God John Paul II, Sunday 01 May 2011, the Vatican Museums will be open exceptionally during the evening of the following days 26 - 27 - 28 - 29 April and 2 May 2011, from 07.00 p.m. to 00.00 a.m. (last admission at 10.00 p.m.).

For this special solemnity, and during the aforementioned hours, the "Museums of the Popes" will grant a specially reduced tariff of 8 Euros to pilgrims who present a signed letter from their Parish, Dioceses or other religious institution.

This initiative bears witness to the spirit of collaboration and solidarity of the personnel of the Vatican Museums, who are called upon in this historic moment to serve the Holy See with pride and devotion.
