A “Chinese-style” canopy and Cardinal Annibale Albani
The new season of Thursdays in the Museums will be inaugurated on 22 September at 04.00 p.m., with a meeting dedicated on the precious Canopy of Magliano Sabino, “noble throne in velvet, embroidered in Chinese style”, donated to the diocese in 1737 by Cardinal Annibale Albani. The presentations will focus on the restoration of this rare and important furnishing, carried out between 2009 and 2012.
