Vatican Museums

The Conference, organised by the Vatican Museums, National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome and the Association ANISA, and curated by Micol Forti and Teresa Calvano, compares the events that during the Second World War involved the museum collections and monumental heritage of the principal European capitals. The Conference will compare the situations, institutions and responses adopted by the various countries for the protection of their historic centres and for safeguarding their works of art.
