“Vatican by train” – Notice to visitors
Due to extraordinary summer maintenance work on the Ciampino-Albano Laziale railways (viceversa), and in order to keep inconvenience to visitors at the minimum possible, on the days of Saturday 23, 30 July, 6, 13, 20 and 27 August and 3 September all those interested in the “Vatican by train” visit (departure from the Vatican City and from the "Roma San Pietro" railway stations destined for the Pontifical Villas of Castel Gandolfo) will be able to rely on a dedicated private alternative shuttle service.
