Vatican Museums

To enable staff to attend the funeral Mass for the late Supreme Pontiff Emeritus Benedict XVI, on Thursday 5 January the Vatican Museums will open to the public at 01.00 p.m. The Sistine Chapel will remain closed for the entire day, as previously communicated.

Tourist, cultural and museum activities at the Pontifical Villas of Castel Gandolfo will also be suspended for the entire day.
