Vatican Museums

To mark the upcoming Christmas festivities, and exclusively on Saturday 7, 14 and 21 December, the Vatican Museums confirm for the third consecutive year the special guided tour to discover the Nativity in Art.
A journey in time and space, through the papal collections, to admire what Pope Francis calls “the little masterpieces of beauty”.

Pilgrims, visitors and families will be able to reread the Gospels of the Nativity in the presence of the masterpieces housed in the Pius-Christian Museum and in the Vatican Pinacoteca, concluding in the Sistine Chapel where they can admire Michelangelo’s frescoes in wonderment.

A visit and experience open to all, including families with children (recommended age 6 and over).
The guided tours – conducted in Italian or English – are entirely accessible to those with sensory, motor and learning disabilities (dedicated booking at accessibilita.musei@scv.va).
