Inside the Vatican Museums there is a Post Office of the Poste Vaticane and a Vatican Philatelic and Numismatic Office.
Adjacent to and accessible from the Courtyard of the Cuirasses, the Offices provide a useful service to all visitors. In this Post Office it is possible to purchase current stamps, send registered and express mail, and to pay bills and utilities.
The Philatelic Office instead sells collectors’ stamps and coins issued and coined by Vatican City State.
The historic post boxes dispersed in various key points throughout the Museums are still in perfect working order!
